A debut album from Scottish acoustic singer-songwriter Rory Butler.
Rory's father ran a recording studio so his childhood home was built on music.
Growing up in Edinburgh he then moved to East London in his early twenties to persue a career writing and performing music.
Rory Butler (vocal, guitar) Matt Ingram (drums), Nick Pini (double bass) Tom Mason (double bass).
"For those who mourn the loss of the mercurial John Martyn back in 2009, here is a new voice to fall in love with." Scottish Daily Express, *****
"A rising new star in the Scottish folk firmament, Rory Butler's already notched up an impressive raft of support slots, opening for, among others Richard Thompson, Paul Weller and John Paul White. Written and recorded between London and hometown Edinburgh, Window Shopping is his debut album and much is fuelled by his frustration with cyber-reality and the way it desensitises human interaction and attitudes to very real issues." Mike Davies Folk Radio.
