A lovely album from award winning singer Joy, showcasing Gaelic songs past and present from her home area Argyll.
Joy decided to research traditional Gaelic material from rural Argyll communities. Her desire to expose unexplored musical repertoire and now realised in this release 'Faileasan'.
In order to present a genuine representation of Argyll's cultural standing, every part of this album project was sourced from the area, from the songs, musicians, CD design, photography and studio recording. A feast of Argyll talent and Joy's own personal reflection of Argyll traditional heritage.
Comprehensive sleeve notes including lyrics in both Gaelic and English.
