Peter Nardini is an artist of all the talents - painter, musician, song-writer, poet and performer. His paintings are in many major collections and it is not surprising that people talk of him as 'painting pictures with words'. Like his paintings his songs are full of wit, perceptive, tender and filled with off-the-wall images.
Peter's songs have the politics of Billy Bragg, the edge and wit of Loudon Wainwright, the dark romance of Jacques Brel and the accent of Billy Connolly. What shines through is the unique talent of Peter Nardini brush-artist and wordsmith.
Including four newly recorded songs: Hogmanay, Why Did You Let Me Go Out Fishing, Lanarkshire Girls and Deo Gratias.
"When Peter flashes a grin you can see his teeth are made of irony" (Tom McGrath)
