This CD captures Boghall and Bathgate's first appearance at the annual concert held the week prior to the World Championships in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

The band were joined that evening by guests The Porridge Men and one of the UK's premier competition brass bands, The Whitburn Band.

The wide and varied repertoire performed that evening is reflected on this recording, which has something to appeal to most musical tastes - from modern pipe band competition-style compositions to music from the more traditional end of the spectrum.

In addition, a number of sets were performed with the combination of pipes and brass.
