The third album release from this popular five piece band from Orkney.
Well kent within the traditional dance scene in Orkney, they bring a special lilt to their repertoire of traditional Scottish, Irish, Cajun and self-penned tunes.
Their selection of Orcadian, Scottish and self penned tunes are influenced by the West Coast style of playing combined with their own Westray style.
Adopting the Norse word for Kirkwall as their band name, The Kirkjuvagr Ceilidh Band are also known throughout Orkney as the Wood family.
