A debut album from one of Scotland's finest folk singers Iona Fyfe.

The album features innovative interpretations of ballads, self-penned and contemporary songs alike, whilst remaining sympathetic to the song tradition of the North East of Scotland where Iona grew up.

An exploration of her unique style and songwriting voice, this debut album features archive clips of singers such as Stanley Robertson and Lizzie Higgins whilst drawing on the work of more recent songmakers such as Michael Marra and Aidan Moffat (Arab Strap).

At twenty-years-old, Iona was nominated as Scots Singer of the Year at the MG ALBA Scots Trad Music Awards 2017.

With musical supported from a stellar folk line-up of musicians such as Luc McNally, Tim Edey, Charlie Grey, Simon Gall, David Foley, Graham Rorie, Charlie Stewart, and Ross Miller.

Produced by Jani Lang, of Dallahan.

"one of the best that Scotland has to offer."

"a testament to the strength, endurance and adaptability of the tradition." (FolkWords).

"one of the most stunning voices on the circuit today." Artree.
