Two of the group’s seminal recordings, these albums are essential listening for fans of Irish traditional music and are now available as a 2CD pack.

Clannad 2 - 11 tracks (42 mins): An Gabhar Ban * Eleanor Plunkett * Coinleach Glas An Fhomair * Rince Philib a Cheoil * By Chance It Was * Rince Briotanach * Dheanainn Sugradh * Gaoth Barra na dTonn * Teidhm Abhaile Riu * Fairly Shot Of Her * Chuaigh Me 'na Rosann.

Dúlamán - 11 tracks (41 mins): Dulaman * Cumha Eoghain Rua Neill * Two Sisters * Eirgh Suas a Stoirin * Galtee Hunt * Eirigh Is Cuir Ort Chuid Eadaigh Coiriu * Siuil A Run * Mo Mhaire * dTigeas a Damhsa * Cucanandy / The Jug Of Brown Ale * An Bealach Seo 'ta Romham.

Dulaman represents the band before they progressed to a more 'pop' style after signing to RCA in the early 1980s. The music retains the authentic feel of Irish folk, and is performed with passion. The title song (which translates as 'seaweed') revolves around a conversation between a young suitor and her stubborn father - other tracks are traditional love songs from Donegal. Bonus track An Bealach Seo 'ta Romham is a single from 1975.

Clannad 2 was produced by Donal Lunny and Micheal O Domhnaill, who both also guested on the album.

Clannad are Ciaran O Braonain (vocals, guitar, mandolin, electric piano, bass), Padraig O Dugain (vocals, guitar, mandola), Pol O Braonain (vocals, guitar, flute, whistle, bongos), Noel O Dugain (vocals, guitar) and Maire Ni Bhraonain (vocals, harp). Also featuring Donal Lunny (bodhran), Robbie Brennan (drums), Micheal O Domhnaill (guitar, vocals), Padraig O Domhnaill (vocals), Triona Ni Domhnaill (harpsichord) and Nicky Ryan (vocals).
