This DVD was recorded live at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, in celebration of 40 years of this top class band.

The Grade One band was delighted to take centre stage at the renowned 'Pre-Worlds' Concert hosted by the Glasgow Skye Association Pipe Band. A perfect way to celebrate and commemorate the band's 40th Anniversary year.

The result an exciting and diverse show full of high quality music.

Since its promotion to the top grade in 1980, the Bathgate, Scotland-based band has maintained a strong position in Grade One, annually hitting a large percentage of the prize-lists at RSPBA major championships.

Boghall and Bathgate continues to grow in strength with their youth policy in teaching piping and drumming to the youngsters of the local area and beyond.

The organisation is world renowned for its highly successful Juvenile bands and the amount of time and effort invested by the experienced players in tutoring the kids in both piping and drumming.

The CD "Forte", Latin for strong is in reference to the continued stength of their organization.
