(June 2005 re-release of earlier recordings)

Early in 1985 Battlefield Band, Alison Kinnaird and Robin Morton were asked to prepare and record music for a television series about the work of the National Trust for Scotland, an organisation which owns and protects a wide range of the natural and man-made heritage.

The first album of soundtrack music proved so popular that Temple Records followed it with a second volume. A great deal of the music was specially written and arranged by the members of Battlefield Band and Alison Kinnaird.
