The Clunes Collection. The late Donald Riddell remains one of the greatest influences on contemporary Scottish fiddle music. It was through his teaching that Duncan Chisholm, Iain MacFarlane and Bruce MacGregor developed their styles and perfection, and now pass on the inspiration of the Scottish fiddle to other musicians of today.
Many of the tunes are Donald's own compositions, the others are those with which he had such success in bringing on the playing of his pupils.
Also with Brian McAlpine (keyboards), Jonny Hardie (fiddle), Rory Campbell (pipes, whistle) and Christine Hanson (cello).
