From the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade this 90-minute production features an exciting line-up, with acts from United Kingdom and beyond.
This year, performers from Korea, New Zealand, Mexico, Mongolia, Middle East provide the international flavour. The Tattoo is further enhanced with the use of 21st Century technical features, state-of-the-art sound, lighting and projection. The iconic sound of the Massed Pipes and Drums is a highlight of the Tattoo.
The 2013 military showpiece event is set to celebrate themes 'The Year of Natural Scotland' and 'Our Wonderful World'.

From its inception, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo has been an international favourite. Performers from over 40 countries have presented here, and around 35 per cent of the 217,000 audience each year are from overseas. In addition, the Tattoo has been televised in 30 countries. An annual television audience of 100 million watches the coverage worldwide.
