Description
A second album 'Strands' by the Scottish contemporary folk music quartet Tannara.
The album was recorded in 2019 and produced by Tannara's guitarist Owen Sinclair, and accordionist Joseph Peach, with input and guidance from Lau's Martin Green.
Together they created a whole world around the band's music; found sounds and samples, and synthesisers.
Tamara: Becca Skeoch (harp), Robbie Greig (fiddle), Joseph Peach (accordion/keys), Owen Sinclair (guitar/ vocals).
Guests: Mattie Foulds (percussion), Josie Duncan (backing vocals).
"The constant search for their own sound led these amazing musicians to the conception of a masterpiece that, for both its fresh touch and its traditional background, will be a milestone of contemporary folk music." Michele Mele, the bright young folk review.
