Precentor-led with congregational response, massed Gaelic choir, Cliar, solo voice and guitar. New pieces of music and song based on Gaelic psalms, recorded live at Glasgow Cathedral and the Queen's Hall in Edinburgh in March 2001.

Lasair Dhe is a unique collection of spiritual music featuring performers Cliar (Arthur Cormack, Ingrid Henderson, Mary Ann Kennedy, Maggie Macdonald, Bruce MacGregor and Chaz Stewart), Donnie Murdo MacLeod and Kenna Campbell, as well as over 200 singers from Gaelic choirs throughout Scotland.

Musical and lyric settings are by J MacDonald, Kenna Campbell, Eilidh MacKenzie, Stuart MacRae, Mary Ann Kennedy, Alasdair Codona, Blair Douglas, John MacInnes, Calum and Rory MacDonald, Ingrid Henderson, Stuart Townend, Donald Meek and Joseph Mainzer.

Since its commission by the Highland Festival in 1999, where it won a Saltire Award, Lasair Dhe has taken root in the musical tradition of the Highlands and beyond. The psalms have been heard in churches, but also on stage, radio and television. These live recordings create a permanent record of a project which has had a major impact on the Gaelic world.
