Temple's first release established Alison Kinnaird as the leading exponent of the largely unexplored field of Scottish harp music. Her research, teaching and the album re-established a repertoire for the instrument in Scotland. This and her subsequent recordings form a definitive and essential base to any collection of Scottish harp music.
"The clarsach (Scottish harp) can never have had a better showcase than this." (MELODY MUSIC)
"Superbly played and well produced ... a gem." (THE GUARDIAN)
